Regular Season Round 10: SC Kryvbas - BC Donetsk 67-78

Superleague top team - BC Donetsk (9-1) managed to deliver another win. This time they beat ninth ranked SC Kryvbas (4-6) in Kryvyi Rih 78-67. SC Kryvbas were ahead by 9 points at the halftime before a 45-25 second half run of BC Donetsk. They made 17-of-20 charity shots (85.0 percent) during the game. BC Donetsk outrebounded SC Kryvbas 39-22 including a 29-16 advantage in defensive rebounds. Their players were unselfish on offense dishing 25 assists. Americans were the main players on the court. Worth to mention a great performance of power forward Ben McCauley (206-86, college: N.Carolina St.) who helped to win the game recording 23 points, 9 rebounds and 6 assists. Guard Bernard King (196-81, college: Texas A&M) contributed with 14 points, 6 rebounds and 7 assists for the winners. Four BC Donetsk players scored in double figures. Swingman Winsome Frazier (193-82, college: Mississippi St.) replied with 23 points and 7 steals and guard Nate Bowie (183-86, college: Cent.Arkansas, agency: Alti Sport) added 10 points and 7 assists in the effort for SC Kryvbas. SC Kryvbas' coach rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. BC Donetsk maintains first position with 9-1 record. SC Kryvbas lost fourth consecutive game. They keep the ninth place with six games lost. BC Donetsk's next round opponent will be league's second-placed Khimik in Yuzhny and it will be for sure the game of the week. SC Kryvbas will play on the road against Azovmash (#5) in Mariupol and hope to win that game.
