The game in Vilnius supposed to be also worth to mention about. 5th ranked Silute (9-5) played at the court of seventh ranked Vilnius-MRU (9-7). Vilnius-MRU smashed Silute 86-56. The game without a history. Vilnius-MRU led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They dominated on the defensive end, holding Silute to just 3 points in second quarter. They outrebounded Silute 39-26 including a 29-15 advantage in defensive rebounds. Vilnius-MRU players were unselfish on offense dishing 21 assists. Guard Dovis Bickauskis (188-93) stepped up and scored 12 points, 6 rebounds and 4 assists for the winners and guard Dominykas Domarkas (188-92) chipped in 10 points and 5 assists. Vilnius-MRU's coach Mindaugas Sakalauskas felt very confident that he used entire bench and allowed the starting five to rest. Center Nerijus Anglickis (214-90) responded with 12 points and 6 rebounds and swingman Deividas Pukis (196-92, college: High School) scored 10 points and 6 rebounds. Five Vilnius-MRU and four Silute players scored in double figures. Vilnius-MRU have a solid series of four victories in a row. They maintain seventh place with 9-7 record. Silute at the other side dropped to the sixth position with five games lost. Vilnius-MRU will play against higher ranked TiuMenas-Ezer. (#4) in Moletai in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Silute will play at home against the league's leader Mazeikiai and will have a slim chance for a victory.
