Regular Season Round 12: Oradea - Concordia 103-69

No shocking result in a game when third ranked Oradea (9-2) smashed at home 12th ranked Concordia (1-11) 103-69. The game was mostly controlled by Oradea. Concordia was better in fourth quarter 25-16. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Oradea dominated down low during the game scoring 68 of its points in the paint compared to Concordia's 42. Oradea forced 25 Concordia turnovers and outrebounded them 37-26 including a 27-14 advantage in defensive rebounds. Their players were unselfish on offense dishing 27 assists comparing to just 14 passes made by Concordia's players. It was a good game for Australian-Trinidad and Tobago swingman Daniel Dillon (194-86, college: Arizona) who led his team to a victory with 14 points and 5 assists. The former international Titus Nicoara (203-88, agency: Interperformances) contributed with 14 points and 5 rebounds for the winners. Four Oradea players scored in double figures. Serbian forward Aleksandar Vuletic (202-86, college: Indian Hills CC) replied with a double-double by scoring 25 points and 14 rebounds and forward Bogdan Stancut (198-87) added 19 points and 4 steals in the effort for Concordia. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Oradea have a solid three-game winning streak. They moved-up to second place, which they share with CSU Sibiu. Concordia lost fifth consecutive game. Newly promoted team keeps the twelfth position with 11 games lost. They share it with Timba Timis.. Oradea will play against CS Energia Rovinari Targu Jiu (#4) at home in the next round. Concordia will play against Pitesti (#9) to get more than just one victory in their record.
