Rather predictable result when eighth ranked Yesilgiresun (8-5) won against 12th ranked Pamukkale (6-7) in Giresun 74-68. However just six-point win is not that big difference and the fans of host team counted on more convincing victory. Pamukkale was tied at the half but could not keep up in last two quarters eventually losing the game. American guard Marcus Hall (185-85, college: Colorado) fired 28 points and 6 rebounds for the winners. His fellow American import power forward Joshua Heytvelt (210-86, college: Gonzaga) chipped in a double-double by scoring 13 points and 10 rebounds. The former international swingman Ulug Kacaniku (202-85) produced a double-double by scoring 11 points and 11 rebounds and American guard Osiris Eldridge (191-88, college: Illinois St.) added 15 points respectively for lost side. Five Pamukkale players scored in double figures. Yesilgiresun moved-up to fifth place, which they share with 3 other teams. Pamukkale at the other side keeps the twelfth position with seven games lost. Yesilgiresun's next round opponent will be Final Genclik (#11) in Bursa which should be theoretically an easy game. Pamukkale will play at home against Hacettepe and hope to win that game.
