Dameligaen top team - SISU (11-1) managed to deliver another win on Saturday. This time they beat sixth ranked Aabyhoj (6-6) 85-71. It ended at the same time the three-game winning streak of Aabyhoj. SISU forced 22 Aabyhoj turnovers. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 23 assists. It was a good game for Kiki Lund (177-83, college: Dayton) who led her team to a victory with 26 points, 5 assists and 6 steals. Guard Camilla Blands (180-85, college: Alabama) contributed with 11 points, 5 rebounds, 5 assists and 4 steals for the winners. Four SISU players scored in double figures. American center Britt Harris (188, college: W.Washington) replied with 15 points, 8 rebounds and 4 assists and swingman Bianca Morsoe (174-90) added 19 points (went 8 for 8 at the free throw line) in the effort for Aabyhoj. Defending champion maintains first position with 11-1 record. Aabyhoj at the other side keeps the sixth place with six games lost. SISU are looking forward to face Vaerlose (#8) at home in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Aabyhoj will play against Virum and is hoping to prove to their fans that the loss was just an accident.
