Very expected game in Bonn where 16th ranked BBC Bayreuth (3-10) was defeated by third ranked Telekom Bsk (9-4) 83-71 on Sunday. The hosts trailed by 3 points after first quarter, but they stormed back to get the 12-point lead at the halftime and eventually won the game 83-71. Telekom Bsk shot the lights out from three sinking 12 long-distance shots on high 52.2 percentage. Lithuanian guard Benas Veikalas (192-83, college: Metro St.) stepped up and scored 18 points and 6 rebounds for the winners and American point guard Jared Jordan (188-84, college: Marist, agency: Pro One Sports) chipped in 18 points, 5 assists and 4 steals.
