Regular Season Round 10: Halychyna - DniproAzot 83-69

Very expected game in Lviv where 13th ranked DniproAzot (1-7) was defeated by eighth ranked Halychyna (5-5) 83-69 on Sunday. Halychyna dominated down low during the game scoring 56 of its points in the paint compared to DniproAzot's 32. American Kyndall Dykes (190-87, college: New Orleans) scored 22 points, 9 rebounds, 5 assists and 4 steals to lead the charge for the winners and Serbian power forward Vladan Vukosavljevic (206-84, agency: Beo Basket) chipped in 15 points and 7 rebounds during the contest. Dykes is a former Eurobasket Summer League player, which is considered top international summer league in the market. Four Halychyna players scored in double figures. At the losing side American point guard Donald Sims (185-87, college: Appalachian St.) responded with 25 points and 4 assists and his fellow American import forward Sam Muldrow (205-88, college: S.Carolina) scored 18 points and 8 rebounds. Halychyna moved-up to sixth place, which they share with Budivelnyk and Hoverla. Loser DniproAzot dropped to the bottom position with seven games lost. Halychyna will face Mykolaiv (#11) in Mykolaiv in the next round where they are favorite. DniproAzot will play on the road against Ferro-ZNTU in Zaporozhye and hope to win that game.
