Regular Season Round 11: Wuerzburg - Mainz 63-55

There was a minor upset when 4th placed ASC Theresianum Mainz (6-5) was defeated on the road by sixth ranked Take-Off Wuerzburg (6-5) 63-55 on Sunday. ASC Theresianum Mainz trailed by 14 points after 3 quarters before a 21-15 run in the last quarter cut the deficit to 55-63 at the end of the game. Take-Off Wuerzburg forced 19 ASC Theresianum Mainz turnovers. It was a great evening for Canadian guard Debbie Yeboah (168) who led her team to a victory scoring 23 points. Forward Margret Pfister (182-86) helped adding 4 points and 9 rebounds. Bulgarian guard Gergana Georgieva (180-87) responded with 12 points and 6 rebounds and center Anna Delp (193) scored 9 points. Both coaches tested many bench players saving starting five for next games. Take-Off Wuerzburg moved-up to fourth place in South, which they share with Speyer and Mainz.
