Regular Season Round 10: Montana 2003 - Levski 68-55

NBL round 10 caused change at the leadership position. Third defeat of league's leader Levski (6-3) against second ranked Montana 2003 (7-2) 68-55 was the most important game of the last round. It ended at the same time the three-game winning streak of Levski. It was a key game for the top position in the league. The game was mostly controlled by Montana 2003. Levski managed to win fourth quarter 24-6. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Montana 2003 forced 20 Levski turnovers and outrebounded them 39-26 including 28 on the defensive glass. Worth to mention a great performance of the former international power forward Radostina Slavova-Naneva (188-86) who helped to win the game recording 21 points and 7 rebounds. Ukrainian-Russian guard Anna Sokolan (178-84) contributed with 21 points and 4 assists for the winners. International forward Hristina Ivanova (183-89) replied with 20 points and 5 rebounds and international forward Ralitsa Naneva (178-86) added 15 points in the effort for Levski. Montana 2003 have an impressive six-game winning streak. They keep a position of league leader. Levski at the other side dropped to the third place with three games lost. They were replaced at the leadership position by Montana 2003. Levski will play next round against Beroe trying to make it back to the top of the standings. Montana 2003 will try to continue on its current victory against second ranked Dunav 8806 in Ruse.
