The game with biggest result difference took place in Kaunas. Local Zalgiris II (7-10) was outscored by third ranked Delikatesas (14-4) 93-67 on Friday night. The game was mostly controlled by Delikatesas. Zalgiris II managed to win second period 22-15. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Delikatesas dominated down low during the game scoring 54 of its points in the paint compared to Zalgiris II's 34. Delikatesas had a 27-15 advantage in offensive rebounds. Worth to mention a quality performance of swingman Zilvinas Petraitis (194-88) who helped to win the game recording 18 points and 8 rebounds. Zalgiris II's coach Tomas Masiulis gave up on the game allowing to play twelve players seeing no chance for a win. Delikatesas have an impressive series of ten victories in a row. They moved-up to second place. Zalgiris II at the other side keeps the tenth position with ten games lost. Delikatesas will meet at home Triobet (#5) in the next round. Zalgiris II will play against Radviliskis (#14) and hope to secure a win.
