Very predictable result when twelfth ranked Pamukkale (7-7) smashed at home 17th ranked Hacettepe (3-11) 88-52 on Saturday. The game without a history. Pamukkale led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. Pamukkale outrebounded Hacettepe 46-15 including a 32-11 advantage in defensive rebounds. Latvian guard Armands Skele (192-83) had a double-double by scoring 13 points, 12 rebounds and 5 assists to lead the charge for the winners and guard Mehmet Yatagan (192-93) chipped in 12 points, 8 rebounds and 4 assists during the contest. Five Pamukkale players scored in double figures. Pamukkale's coach felt very confident that he used entire bench saving starting five for next games. Berkay Demirci (-91) responded with 10 points and Sakut Suerkip (196-93) scored 9 points and 6 rebounds. Pamukkale moved-up to eleventh place. Hacettepe lost eighth consecutive game. They keep the seventeenth position with 11 games lost. Pamukkale will face higher ranked Antalya (#10) on the road in the next round and it may be quite challenging game. Hacettepe will play against Final Genclik (#12) and hope to win that game.
