There was a small surprise when eleventh ranked Suduva-Mantinga (6-12) beat 9th ranked JAZZ-KTU (8-11) in Kaunas 80-63 on Saturday. The guests trailed by 1 point after first quarter, but they stormed back to get the 7-point lead at the halftime and eventually won the game 80-63. Suduva-Mantinga dominated down low during the game scoring 56 of its points in the paint compared to JAZZ-KTU's 22. Suduva-Mantinga forced 19 JAZZ-KTU turnovers. Point guard Zilvinas Kuklierius (180-85) orchestrated the victory by scoring 21 points, 6 rebounds and 5 assists. Forward Donatas Sabeckis (196-92) contributed with 13 points, 8 rebounds and 5 assists for the winners. Five Suduva-Mantinga players scored in double figures. Forward Karolis Kokoska (194-92) replied with 20 points and 5 rebounds and Simas Raupys (195-94) added 12 points and 6 rebounds in the effort for JAZZ-KTU. Suduva-Mantinga maintains eleventh position with 6-12 record. JAZZ-KTU lost ninth consecutive game. They keep the ninth place with 11 games lost.
