Regular Season Round 10: LTH Castings - Postojna 87-65

There was no surprise in Skofja Loka where 7th ranked Postojna (4-6) was outplayed by first ranked LTH Castings (9-1) 87-65 on Saturday. The game without a history. LTH Castings led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They dominated down low during the game scoring 50 of its points in the paint compared to Postojna's 20. They outrebounded Postojna 35-23 including 26 on the defensive glass. Forward Simon Finzgar (196-80) scored 20 points and 7 rebounds (on 8-of-9 shooting from the field) to lead the charge for the winners and the former international center Ales Kunc (208-73, college: Missouri St.) chipped in 19 points and 6 rebounds during the contest. Four LTH Castings players scored in double figures. At the losing side forward Gasper Jordan Rojko (200-96) responded with 15 points and 5 rebounds and forward Alen Katonar (200-92) scored 6 points and 9 rebounds. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. LTH Castings maintains first position with 9-1 record, which they share with Plama Pur. Loser Postojna keeps the seventh place with six games lost. LTH Castings will face bottom-ranked Koper (#14) on the road in the next round which should be another easy win for them. Postojna will play against Sencur Gor. (#3) and hope to win that game.
