Regular Season Round 12: Mladost ZE - Kolubara 77-65

We should mention about the upset which took place in Zemun, where higher ranked Kolubara (7-5) lost to ninth ranked Mladost ZE (6-6) in a road game 65-77. It ended at the same time the six-game winning streak of Kolubara. The hosts were ahead by 10 points but lost the second period ending it with a 1-point deficit before their 24-11 run, which allowed them to win the game. Mladost ZE forced 21 Kolubara turnovers. The winners were led by guard Nino Celebic (187-90) who scored that evening 26 points and 7 assists and swingman Bogdan Dragovic (191-90) supported him with 17 points and 7 rebounds (on 7-of-9 shooting from the field). Mladost ZE's coach allowed to play the deep bench players saving starting five for next games. Even 15 points and 5 rebounds (on 6-of-7 shooting from the field) by Aleksa Stamenkovic did not help to save the game for Kolubara. Center Milos Marjanovic (207-81, agency: BeoExcell) added 5 points, 7 rebounds and 6 assists. Mladost ZE moved-up to seventh place, which they share with Radnicki OB and Napredak. Newly promoted Kolubara keeps the fifth position with five games lost. Mladost ZE's next round opponent will be Morava (#11) in Vladicin Han. Kolubara will play at home against the league's leader KK Jagodina (#1) where they are definitely not considered as a favorite in this game either.
