Regular Season Round 10: Dynamo - Astana Tigers 82-53

Higher League top team - Dynamo (11-1) had no problems winning another game on Thursday. This time they crushed fifth ranked Astana Tigers (1-13) in Kyiv 82-53. The game was mostly controlled by Dynamo. Astana Tigers managed to win fourth quarter 15-13. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Dynamo dominated down low during the game scoring 52 of its points in the paint compared to Astana Tigers' 32. They outrebounded Astana Tigers 44-31 including 32 on the defensive glass. Dynamo looked well-organized offensively handing out 25 assists. International guard Yevgeniya Spitkovska (175-88) fired 9 points, 7 rebounds and 7 assists for the winners. American guard Nicole Michael (188-87, college: Syracuse, agency: Two Points) chipped in 9 points, 10 rebounds and 4 assists. The former international forward Ganna Zarytska (182-86, agency: Data Plus Group) produced a double-double by scoring 17 points and 10 rebounds and guard Victoria Shmatova (172-87) added 15 points and 5 assists respectively for lost side. Since the result was very predictable, it gave the chance for the coaches to test many bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Dynamo have a solid four-game winning streak. Defending champion maintains first position with 11-1 record. Astana Tigers lost sixth consecutive game. Newly promoted team stay at the bottom place with 13 games lost.
