The game in Lviv was also quite interesting. 7th ranked Hoverla (6-6) played at the court of eighth ranked Halychyna (7-6). Halychyna managed to secure a 7-point victory 74-67 on Saturday. The hosts took control from the first minutes by winning the initial quarter 21-13. But Hoverla won second period 18-15. However it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. The game was decided in the last minutes when Halychyna won last quarter 23-17. They made 16-of-20 free shots (80.0 percent) during the game. American Kyndall Dykes (190-87, college: New Orleans) fired a double-double by scoring 22 points and 11 rebounds for the winners. Center Yaroslav Lemyk (204-85) chipped in 13 points and 9 rebounds. Dykes is a former Eurobasket Summer League player, which is considered top international summer league in the market. Zimbabwean-American forward Julian Mavunga (203-90, college: Miami, OH) produced 24 points and 5 rebounds and American forward Seamus Boxley (201-82, college: Portland St.) added 9 points and 6 rebounds respectively for lost side. Hoverla's coach tested ten players, but that didn't help to avoid defeat in this game. Halychyna moved-up to sixth place, which they share with Azovmash. Loser Hoverla dropped to the eighth position with six games lost.
