Regular Season Round 15: Antalya - Pamukkale 66-73

Date: December 28, 2013
We could consider it a predictable result in the game between close teams when eleventh ranked Pamukkale (8-7) beat on the road 10th ranked Antalya (8-7) 73-66 on Saturday. The game without a history. Pamukkale led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. Pamukkale forced 19 Antalya turnovers. It was a great evening for Latvian guard Armands Skele (192-83) who led his team to a victory scoring 16 points, 8 rebounds and 7 assists (on 7-of-9 shooting from the field). Bosnian-Slovenian center Hasan Rizvic (212-84) helped adding 16 points and 4 steals. Four Pamukkale players scored in double figures. Pamukkale's coach used an eleven-player rotation which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. The best for the losing side was American forward Damien Kinloch (203-80, college: Tenn Tech) with a double-double by scoring 16 points and 12 rebounds and the other American import guard Henry Antwan Dobie (183-78, college: LIU Brooklyn) scored 14 points. Pamukkale moved-up to ninth place, which they share with Antalya and Balikesir. Pamukkale will meet at home league's second-placed Istanbul B.B. in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Antalya will play against Final Genclik (#12) in Bursa and hope to secure a win and be promoted back to the TBL just one year after relegation.
