Regular Season Round 15: Vestel - Ankara DSI Era 81-90

The biggest surprise of round 15 in TB2L was guest Ankara DSI Era's (10-5) road victory over 3rd placed Vestel (9-6) 90-81 on Saturday evening. It ended at the same time the four-game winning streak of Vestel. It was a key game for the second position in the league. Vestel was tied after three quarters but could not keep up in the last quarter eventually losing the game. Ankara DSI Era made 17-of-21 free shots (81.0 percent) during the game. The best player for the winners was swingman Hakan Erol (200-83) who scored 22 points and 7 rebounds. American point guard Lamar Karim (178-83, college: So.Poly State, agency: Interperformances) chipped in 19 points and 6 rebounds. At the other side the best for losing team was Nigerian center Kenny Adeleke (205-83, college: Hartford) who recorded a double-double by scoring 17 points and 14 rebounds and American guard Alex Gordon (184-85, college: Vanderbilt) added 24 points and 7 assists (went 10 for 10 at the free throw line !!!) respectively. Ankara DSI Era moved-up to second place, which they share with 3 other teams. Vestel at the other side dropped to the seventh position with six games lost. They share it with Akhisar Bld. Ankara DSI Era is looking forward to face Buyukcekmece (#13) in the next round which should be an easy win for them. Vestel will play against Maliye Milli (#15) in Ankara and is hoping to win this game.
