A Bundesliga top team - Zepter Vienna (12-2) managed to deliver another win on Sunday. This time they beat eighth ranked Furstenfeld Panthers (5-10) 89-74. The guests trailed by 2 points at the halftime before their 47-30 charge in the second half, which allowed them to win the game. Strangely Furstenfeld Panthers outrebounded Zepter Vienna 21-0 including a 13- advantage in defensive rebounds. Worth to mention a great performance of Serbian center Nenad Sulovic (202-85) who helped to win the game recording 24 points and 8 rebounds. Serbian Predrag Miletic (193-84) contributed with 20 points and 4 assists for the winners. American forward Amin Stevens (201-90, college: Florida A&M) replied with 17 points and 5 rebounds and his fellow American import guard Janou Rubin (193-82, college: UCLA, agency: Two Points) added 15 points in the effort for Furstenfeld Panthers. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Defending champion maintains first position with 12-2 record. Furstenfeld Panthers at the other side keep the eighth place with ten games lost. Zepter Vienna are looking forward to face bottom-ranked St.Polten (#11) at home in the next round and are hoping to win another game.
