Bottom-ranked Chernomorets is still unable to win any game. This time they lost on the road their tenth consecutive match to fourth ranked Euroins Cherno More (7-3) 108-64 on Sunday evening. The game without a history. Euroins Cherno More led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They dominated down low during the game scoring 64 of its points in the paint compared to Chernomorets' 42. Euroins Cherno More forced 22 Chernomorets turnovers and outrebounded them 37-21 including 26 on the defensive glass. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 22 assists. It was an exceptional evening for forward Simeon Iliev (203-89, agency: Interperformances) who led the winners with a double-double by scoring 17 points, 10 rebounds and 5 assists. The former international point guard Asen Velikov (187-86) accounted for 13 points, 5 assists and 4 steals for the winning side. Five Euroins Cherno More players scored in double figures. Bogdan Boev (196-82) came up with 14 points and Montenegrin center Novak Popovic (207-81) added 14 points respectively for Chernomorets in the defeat. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Euroins Cherno More moved-up to third place, which they share with Levski Sofia. Chernomorets lost their tenth game in a row. They still closes the standings with ten games lost. Euroins Cherno More will meet Beroe (#8) in the next round which should be theoretically another easy game. Chernomorets will play against Tundja Yambol and hopes to get finally their first victory.
