Everything could happen in Istanbul at the game between two tied teams. Both fifth ranked Fenerbahce Ulker and 6th ranked Usak had identical 8-4 record. This time Fenerbahce Ulker used a home court advantage and crushed the opponent from Usak 97-67 on Sunday night. The game without a history. Fenerbahce Ulker led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They dominated down low during the game scoring 72 of its points in the paint compared to Usak's 40. They outrebounded Usak 40-14 including a 26-10 advantage in defensive rebounds. Fenerbahce Ulker looked well-organized offensively handing out 27 assists comparing to just 10 passes made by Usak's players. Croatian center Luka Zoric (211-84) fired 13 points, 6 rebounds and 5 assists (on 6-of-7 shooting from the field) for the winners. Bosnian-Croatian Bojan Bogdanovic (203-89, agency: XL Basketball Agency) chipped in 18 points. point guard Yigitcan Turna (187-87) produced 11 points and American power forward Elijah Holman (208-89, college: Detroit Mercy) added 12 points respectively for lost side. Five Usak players scored in double figures. Since the result was very predictable, it gave the chance for the coaches to test many bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Fenerbahce Ulker (9-4) moved-up to fourth place, which they share with Karsiyaka. Newly promoted Usak keeps the sixth position with five games lost. They share it with TED Kolejliler. Fenerbahce Ulker will meet TED Kolejliler (#7) in the next round. Usak will have a break next round.
