Four ALBA Berlin players scored in double figures. At the losing side American guard Rickey Paulding (196-82, college: Missouri, agency: Pro One Sports) responded with 13 points and 7 rebounds and Serbian power forward Nemanja Aleksandrov (210-87) scored 12 points. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. ALBA Berlin have an impressive six-game winning streak. They maintain third position with 12-4 record having just one points less than leader B.Muenchen. EWE Baskets at the other side dropped to the fifth place with five games lost. ALBA Berlin are looking forward to face Deutsche Bank Skyliners (#8) in Frankfurt in the next round where they are favorite. EWE Baskets will play on the road against ratiopharm Ulm and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
