Regular Season Round 17: UBSC Graz - Zepter Vienna 73-82

A Bundesliga top team - Zepter Vienna (14-2) managed to deliver another win. This time they beat tenth ranked UBSC Graz (2-13) 82-73. UBSC Graz was tied at the half but could not keep up in last two quarters eventually losing the game. 25 personal fouls committed by UBSC Graz helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities. Serbian center Nenad Sulovic (202-85) orchestrated the victory by scoring 26 points. Serbian Predrag Miletic (193-84) contributed with 17 points and 6 rebounds for the winners. Croatian power forward Milan Stegnjaic (204-81) answered with a double-double by scoring 21 points and 10 rebounds and American guard Nolan Richardson (188-84, college: Midwestern St., agency: Hart Sports Mngm) added 17 points in the effort for UBSC Graz. Four Zepter Vienna and five UBSC Graz players scored in double figures. The victory was the third consecutive win for Zepter Vienna. Defending champion maintains first place with 14-2 record. UBSC Graz at the other side keeps the tenth position with 13 games lost. Zepter Vienna's next round opponent will be Gmunden Swans (#4) in Gmunden. UBSC Graz will play on the road against Arkadia Lions (#9) in Traiskirchen and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
