The game in Klaipeda was also worth to mention about. Top-ranked Lietuvos rytas (8-0) played at the court of 6th ranked Neptunas (5-3). Lietuvos rytas managed to secure a 9-point victory 88-79. It ended at the same time the three-game winning streak of Neptunas. Neptunas was ahead by 11 points at the halftime before a 30-8 third quarter run of Lietuvos rytas. They dominated down low during the game scoring 58 of its points in the paint compared to Neptunas' 24. Their players were unselfish on offense dishing 34 assists comparing to just 17 passes made by Neptunas' players. Colombian power forward Juan Palacios (203-85) orchestrated the victory with a double-double by scoring 19 points, 11 rebounds and 4 assists. Neptunas at the other side keeps the sixth position with three games lost. They share it with Zalgiris. Both teams do not play next round, which will be an opportunity for some rest.
