A very close game took place in Magdeburg between Magdeburg and BG Karlsruhe. Fourteenth ranked Magdeburg (5-11) got a very close home victory over 13th ranked BG Karlsruhe (4-12). American forward Andre Calvin (201-85, college: Drake) produced a double-double by scoring 15 points and 12 rebounds and Rouven Roessler (198-80) added 14 points and 5 rebounds respectively for lost side. Magdeburg moved-up to thirteenth place. BG Karlsruhe lost third consecutive game. They dropped to the fourteenth position with 12 games lost. They share it with Bayer Giants. Magdeburg will meet Bayer Giants (#15) in the next round. BG Karlsruhe will play against Giessen 46ers and hope to secure a win.
