Worth to mention about the upset in a game between ITU Istanbul (9-6) and Balikesir (9-7), which took place in Balikesir. 6th ranked ITU Istanbul lost to ninth ranked Balikesir in a road game 67-79. It ended at the same time the three-game winning streak of ITU Istanbul. The game was mostly controlled by Balikesir. ITU Istanbul was better in fourth quarter 20-18. Balikesir maintains ninth position with 9-7 record, which they share with Pamukkale. Newly promoted ITU Istanbul dropped to the eighth place with six games lost. Balikesir's next round opponent will be higher ranked Vestel (#5) in Manisa and it may be quite challenging game.
