Regular Season Round 16: Kirchheim - Bayer Giants 67-71

An interesting game took place in Kirchheim where higher ranked Kirchheim Knights (9-7) were upseton its own court by fifteenth ranked Bayer Giants (4-12) 71-67. It looked good early as Kirchheim Knights took an 4-point lead at the end of first quarter. But then Bayer Giants had a 28-19 second period charge getting the lead and Kirchheim Knights were not able to take back game control losing it eventually 67-71. It was a very good performance for American John Eggleston (203-88, college: Pennsylvania) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 15 points, 11 rebounds and 7 assists. The other American import guard Tony Watson II (188-90, college: Buffalo, agency: SDJ Sports) contributed with 22 points and 5 assists for the winners. American point guard Bryan Smithson (183-85, college: NC-Asheville, agency: The House of Baller!Stars) replied with 15 points and 6 assists and forward Max Rockmann (198-88, college: UMKC) added 10 points and 9 rebounds in the effort for Kirchheim Knights. Bayer Giants moved-up to fourteenth place, which they share with Karlsruhe. Kirchheim Knights at the other side dropped to the seventh position with seven games lost. Bayer Giants' next round opponent will be higher ranked Magdeburg (#13) at home and it may be quite challenging game.
