Regular Season Round 15: Lietkabelis - Tonybet 61-80

LKL top team - Tonybet (13-2) had no problems winning another game. This time they crushed eleventh ranked Lietkabelis (3-13) in Panevezys 80-61. The game without a history. Tonybet led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. Their players were unselfish on offense dishing 21 assists. It was a great evening for the former international guard Mindaugas Lukauskis (198-79, agency: XL Basketball Agency) who led his team to a victory scoring 20 points and 6 rebounds. Forward Arturas Valeika (207-85, college: Midland CC) helped adding 14 points and 10 rebounds (on 6-of-7 shooting from the field). Tonybet's coach Virginijus Seskus allowed to play the deep bench players saving starting five for next games. The best for the losing side was Vaidas Kariniauskas (198-93) with 13 points, 7 rebounds and 6 assists and American center Ryan Olander (213-90, college: Fairfield) scored 16 points and 7 rebounds. Four Lietkabelis players scored in double figures. Tonybet have an impressive series of five victories in a row. They maintain first place with 13-2 record. Lietkabelis lost fourth consecutive game. They stay at the bottom position with 13 games lost. Tonybet will play against LSU-Atletas (#10) in Kaunas in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Lietkabelis will play on the road against Siauliai and hopes to get back on the winning track.
