Regular Season Round 13: SISU - Virum 97-56

Dameligaen top team - SISU (13-1) had no problems winning another game on Tuesday. This time they crushed ninth ranked Virum (2-12) in Copenhagen 97-56. The game was mostly controlled by SISU. Virum managed to win fourth quarter 20-15. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. They dominated down low during the game scoring 64 of its points in the paint compared to Virum's 42. SISU forced 28 Virum turnovers. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 29 assists comparing to just 10 passes made by Virum's players. Guard Camilla Blands (180-85, college: Alabama) fired a triple-double by scoring 11 points, 10 rebounds, 12 assists and 9 steals for the winners. Kiki Lund (177-83, college: Dayton) chipped in 23 points. Five SISU players scored in double figures. Guard Ivana Kostic (177-85) produced 12 points and 5 rebounds and American swingman Ashley Boggs (182-91, college: USF) added 14 points respectively for lost side. Since the result was very predictable, it gave the chance for the coaches to test many bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. SISU have a solid series of three victories in a row. Defending champion maintains first place with 13-1 record. Virum lost fifth consecutive game. Newly promoted team dropped to the eighth position with 12 games lost. They share it with Vaerlose. Both teams do not play next round, which will be an opportunity for some rest.
