Even a double-double of 23 points and 11 rebounds (on 8-of-10 shooting from the field) by the former international center Chris Christoffersen (218-79, college: Oregon) did not help to save the game for Bakken. American forward Brandon Penn (203-90, college: Rider, agency: I.D.S. Law) added 18 points and 8 rebounds for the hosts. Four Bakken players scored in double figures. Bakken's coach Ville Tuominen tested ten players, but that didn't help to avoid defeat in this game. Randers keep a position of league leader. Defending champion Bakken keeps the third place with two games lost. Randers will play against SISU (#6) in Copenhagen in the next round where they are favorite. Bakken will have a break next round.
