There was a minor upset in Klaipeda where 12th ranked Nafta Univers. (6-14) was defeated by fourteenth ranked Radviliskis (6-13) 80-69 on Friday. The game was mostly controlled by Radviliskis. Nafta Univers. managed to win second period 16-13. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Radviliskis made 21-of-26 free shots (80.8 percent) during the game. The best player for the winners was point guard Vitalis Pancerevas (183-87, college: Weatherford JC) who scored 14 points and 5 rebounds. Guard Lukas Pipiras (192-89) chipped in 17 points. Four Radviliskis players scored in double figures. At the other side the best for losing team was forward Viktoras Chodosovskis (200-89) who recorded a double-double by scoring 20 points and 13 rebounds and forward Laurynas Lucinskas (201-93) added 17 points and 9 rebounds respectively. Nafta Univers.'s coach Rytis Vaisvila rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. The victory was the fourth consecutive win for Radviliskis. They moved-up to eleventh place, which they share with Suduva-Mantinga. Loser Nafta Univers. dropped to the thirteenth position with 14 games lost. They share it with Olimpas. Radviliskis will meet at home league's second-placed Trakai in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Nafta Univers. will have a break next round.
