Rather predictable result when twelfth ranked Antalya (9-8) defeated at home 14th ranked Pertevniyal (5-12) 74-62 on Saturday. The game was mostly controlled by Antalya. Pertevniyal was better in second period 22-13. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. They made 23-of-28 free shots (82.1 percent) during the game. American guard Henry Antwan Dobie (183-78, college: LIU Brooklyn) stepped up and scored 29 points and 5 assists for the winners and his fellow American import forward Damien Kinloch (203-80, college: Tenn Tech) chipped in 15 points and 10 rebounds. Pertevniyal's coach let to play ten players, but that didn't help to avoid defeat in this game. Antalya moved-up to tenth place, which they share with Balikesir. Loser Pertevniyal dropped to the fifteenth position with 12 games lost. Antalya will face Istanbul DSI (#14) at home in the next round. Pertevniyal will play against Pamukkale and hope to win that game.
