Regular Season Round 14: Bad Aibling - Fellbach 105-55

No shocking result in a game when second ranked Bad Aibling (13-1) outleveled at home 12th ranked Fellbach (2-12) 105-55 on Saturday. The game without a history. Bad Aibling led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They dominated down low during the game scoring 64 of its points in the paint compared to Fellbach's 36 and had 23 for 34 from the free-throw line, while Fellbach only scored four points from the stripe. Bad Aibling forced 29 Fellbach turnovers and outrebounded them 42-24 including a 18-6 advantage in offensive rebounds. Fellbach was plagued by 24 personal fouls down the stretch. Canadian swingman Emma Duinker (182-89) scored 21 points, 9 rebounds and 4 assists to lead the charge for the winners and forward Carla Bellscheidt (183-94) chipped in 20 points and 7 rebounds during the contest. Five Bad Aibling players scored in double figures. Canadian guard Lauren Mortier (175-89) responded with 19 points and 4 steals and Croatian center Katarina Fofic (180) scored 12 points. Fellbach's coach Iuliana Miulescu gave up on the game allowing to play eleven players seeing no chance for a win. Bad Aibling have an impressive six-game winning streak. They keep a position of South leader, which they share with Keltern. Fellbach lost fifth consecutive game. Newly promoted team keeps the twelfth place with 12 games lost. Bad Aibling will face Take-Off Wuerzburg (#5) on the road in the next round. Fellbach will play against TG 1889 Sandhausen (#8) and hope to win that game.
