Very expected game when 17th ranked s Oliver Baskets (4-14) lost to sixth ranked Telekom Baskets (12-6) in Wuerzburg 72-81 on Saturday. The guests were tied at the half but managed to speed up in last two quarters eventually winning the game. Telekom Baskets dominated down low during the game scoring 44 of its points in the paint compared to s Oliver Baskets' 24. Telekom Baskets forced 22 s Oliver Baskets turnovers. It was a good game for American point guard Jared Jordan (188-84, college: Marist, agency: Pro One Sports) who led his team to a victory with 20 points, 7 rebounds and 8 assists. The other American import forward Jamel McLean (203-88, college: Xavier) contributed with 15 points and 9 rebounds for the winners. Telekom Baskets' coach Matthias Fischer allowed to play the deep bench players saving starting five for next games. The former international Maximilian Kleber (207-92, agency: LUMANI 10.7) replied with a double-double by scoring 15 points and 14 rebounds and point guard Maurice Stuckey (187-90, agency: Pro One Sports) added 17 points in the effort for s Oliver Baskets.
