Eighth ranked Krka II won a double-overtime thriller against 6th ranked Crnomelj by three points 87-84 on Saturday night. The game took place in Crnomelj. But the guests from Novo Mesto were better at the end. It ended at the same time the three-game winning streak of Crnomelj. The guests trailed by 7 points after first quarter, but they rallied back to get the 2-point lead at the halftime then Crnomelj managed to tie the game at the end of regular time. However that was Krka II who were better in double-overtime eventually winning that period 5-5. They also forced 22 Crnomelj turnovers. The best player for the winners was power forward Marko Pajic (204-92) who scored 22 points and 6 rebounds. Krka II (7-7) moved-up to sixth place, which they share with 3 other teams including defeated Crnomelj. Krka II will face higher ranked Plama Pur (#3) in Ilirska Bistrica in the next round and it may be quite challenging game.
