Regular Season Round 18: Antalya - Istanbul DSI 77-71

No shocking result in a game when twelfth ranked Antalya (10-8) defeated at home 14th ranked Istanbul DSI (6-12) 77-71 on Saturday. The hosts trailed by 10 points at the halftime before their 49-33 charge in the second half, which allowed them to win the game. The best player for the winners was American guard Henry Antwan Dobie (183-78, college: LIU Brooklyn) who had a double-double by scoring 14 points and 12 assists. Forward Hasan Karabulut (202-84) chipped in 18 points and 5 rebounds. Five Antalya players scored in double figures. At the other side the best for losing team was American point guard Damier Pitts (177-89, college: Marshall, agency: Two Points) who recorded 24 points and Croatian power forward Nenad Delic (210-84, agency: Alti Sport) added 13 points and 9 rebounds respectively. Both coaches allowed to play bench players saving starting five for next games. Antalya moved-up to ninth place. Newly promoted Istanbul DSI keeps the fourteenth position with 12 games lost. Antalya will face league's leader Darussafaka in Istanbul in the next round and they do not belong to the favorites in that game. Istanbul DSI will play at home against Pamukkale (#6) and hope to win that game.
