Regular Season Round 23: Horsholm - Bakken 71-85

An interesting game for Bakken (11-3) which played road game in Horsholm against 4th placed Horsholm (8-9). Third ranked Bakken managed to get a 14-point victory 85-71. The game without a history. Bakken led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. It was a great evening for American forward Brandon Penn (203-90, college: Rider, agency: I.D.S. Law) who led his team to a victory scoring 27 points and 6 rebounds. International power forward Nicolai Iversen (205-80, college: San Jose City JC) helped adding 20 points (on 7-of-9 shooting from the field). Bakken's coach Ville Tuominen allowed to play the deep bench players saving starting five for next games. Hungarian forward Attila Kovacs (202-85) responded with 19 points and 5 rebounds and international forward Zarko Jukic (200-93) scored 14 points and 7 rebounds. Four Horsholm players scored in double figures. Defending champion maintains third place with 11-3 record having seven points less than leader Randers. Horsholm at the other side dropped to the fifth position with nine games lost. Bakken will play against Naestved (#6) at home in the next round. Horsholm will play against Falcon and hopes to get back on the winning track.
