There was an upset when higher ranked Usak (9-7) was defeated at home by twelfth ranked Royal Hali (6-10) 74-64 on Sunday. The guests were tied at the half but managed to speed up in last two quarters eventually winning the game. Strangely Usak outrebounded Royal Hali 40-22 including 26 on the defensive glass. Worth to mention a great performance of American-Bosnian guard Ernest Bremer (194-80, college: St.Bonaventure, agency: Higher Vision Sports) who helped to win the game recording 20 points and 4 assists and Serbian power forward Oliver Stevic (204-84, agency: Beo Basket) who added 13 points and 7 rebounds during the contest. Royal Hali's coach Jurij Zdovc used a ten-player rotation saving starting five for next games. At the losing side American power forward Elijah Holman (208-89, college: Detroit Mercy) responded with a double-double by scoring 17 points and 15 rebounds and his fellow American import forward Justin Carter (193-87, college: Creighton) scored 13 points and 7 rebounds. Royal Hali have a solid four-game winning streak. They moved-up to tenth place, which they share with Olin Edirne and Turk Telekom. Newly promoted Usak keeps the sixth position with seven games lost. Royal Hali will face Turk Telekom (#11) in Ankara in the next round.
