It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of Spartak Pleven. The game without a history. Balkan led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. It was an exceptional evening for American forward Noah Dahlman (200-89, college: Wofford) who led the winners with a double-double by scoring 21 points and 11 rebounds (on 7-of-8 shooting from the field). The former international guard Stanimir Marinov (192-91) accounted for 23 points for the winning side. point guard Tsvetoslav Ostrev (175-86) came up with 6 points, 7 rebounds and 6 assists and Bosnian center Sasha Topchov (206-80, agency: 011 Sports) added 14 points respectively for Spartak Pleven in the defeat. Five Balkan and four Spartak Pleven players scored in double figures. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Balkan maintains third place with 10-3 record having just two points less than leader Lukoil Acad. Spartak Pleven at the other side keeps the seventh position with nine games lost. Balkan will play against league's leader Lukoil Acad. in Sofia in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. Spartak Pleven will play on the road against Levski Sofia (#4) and hopes to get back on the winning track.
