Leading Mersin Univ. (10-3) recorded its third loss at the home court. Hosts were defeated by sixth ranked Bursa BSB (7-6) 69-55. It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of Mersin Univ.. Mersin Univ. was ahead by 6 points at the halftime before a 40-20 second half run of Bursa BSB. American forward Alyssia Brewer (190-90, college: UCLA) stepped up with a double-double by scoring 22 points and 19 rebounds for the winners and Arzu Akay (186-76) chipped in 13 points and 6 rebounds. Guard Ilknur Dumlu (176-89) responded with 18 points, 6 rebounds and 5 assists and center Kubra Dicle (187-92) scored 11 points and 9 rebounds. Mersin Univ.'s coach rotated eleven players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Bursa BSB maintains sixth place in Group C with 7-6 record. Mersin Univ. at the other side dropped to the second position with three games lost. They share it with Mulkiye. Bursa BSB will play against Urla BLD (#8) in Izmir in the next round. Mersin Univ. will play on the road against Kastamonu (#9) and hopes to get back on the winning track.
