The game with biggest result difference took place in Palanga. Local Palanga (8-15) outscored 15th ranked Olimpas (6-18) 117-82 on Friday night. The game without a history. Palanga led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They made 21-of-26 free shots (80.8 percent) during the game. Palanga forced 25 Olimpas turnovers and outrebounded them 35-24 including 21 on the defensive glass. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 23 assists. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. The victory was the third consecutive win for Palanga. They moved-up to eleventh place, which they share with Suduva-Mantinga and Nafta Univers. Olimpas lost their fifth game in a row. They stay at the bottom position with 18 games lost. Palanga will meet higher ranked Vilnius-MRU (#6) on the road in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Olimpas will play against Zalgiris II (#8) and hope to secure a win.
