There was no surprise in Hatay where 12th ranked Ceyhan Bld (6-12) was defeated by seventh ranked Antakya (8-10) 64-59 on Saturday. However just five-point win is not that big difference and the fans of host team counted on more convincing victory. Antakya forced 20 Ceyhan Bld turnovers. American center Aneika Henry (193-86, college: Florida) had a double-double by scoring 14 points and 15 rebounds to lead the charge for the winners and the other American import guard Yvonne Turner (174-87, college: Nebraska, agency: Regeneracom Sports) chipped in 15 points and 6 rebounds during the contest. The best for the losing side was American D'Andra Moss (178-88, college: VCU, agency: Regeneracom Sports) with 16 points and 6 rebounds and point guard Asena Yalcin (172-91) scored 11 points, 8 rebounds and 4 assists. Antakya maintains seventh position with 8-10 record. Ceyhan Bld lost fifth consecutive game. They dropped to the tenth place with 12 games lost. They share the position with Konak and Orduspor. Antakya will meet Orduspor (#10) on the road in the next round. Ceyhan Bld will play against TED Ankara and hope to secure a win.
