It was a great evening for forward Daniela Vogel (179-92) who led her team to a victory scoring 18 points and 5 steals. Bulgarian forward Radoslava Bachvarova (183-87, college: VCU) helped adding 14 points. Four Don Bosco Bamberg players scored in double figures. Don Bosco Bamberg's coach Steffen Dauer used a ten-player rotation in such tough game. The best for the losing side was American Morgan Henderson (185-88, college: San Diego) with a double-double by scoring 11 points and 13 rebounds and power forward Juliane Hoehne (189-83, college: IPFW) scored 8 points and 13 rebounds. Don Bosco Bamberg (4-11) moved-up to eleventh place, which they share with Osnabruck. Loser Donau-Ries keep the eighth position with nine games lost. They share it with Freiburg. Don Bosco Bamberg will meet league's leader TSV 1880 Wasserburg on the road in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Donau-Ries will play against Eisvogel Freiburg (#8) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
