2SKL top team - LTH Castings (13-2) had no problems winning another game. This time they crushed sixth ranked Crnomelj (7-8) in Skofja Loka 107-87. The game without a history. LTH Castings led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They shot 60.3 percent from the field. LTH Castings forced 23 Crnomelj turnovers. It was a great evening for the former international center Ales Kunc (208-73, college: Missouri St.) who led his team to a victory scoring 24 points and 5 rebounds. Forward Simon Finzgar (196-80) helped adding 22 points and 6 rebounds. The best for the losing side was guard Peter Grdesic (188-86) with 15 points and power forward Anze Cerkovnik (200-86) scored 10 points and 7 rebounds. Both teams had five players each who scored in double figures. Both coaches tested many bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. LTH Castings maintains first place with 13-2 record, which they share with Sencur Gor. Newly promoted Crnomelj dropped to the seventh position with eight games lost. They share it with Krka II and Parklji. LTH Castings will play against Plama Pur (#3) in Ilirska Bistrica in the next round, which may be the game of the day. Crnomelj will play at home against the league's second-placed Sencur Gor. (#2) and hopes to get back on the winning track.
