Regular Season Round 15: Litija - Lastovka 62-80

2SKL round 15 most important game was a victory of Lastovka over 4th placed Litija 80-62 on Saturday night. The game was mostly controlled by Lastovka. Litija managed to win second period 17-14. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Lastovka shot 27 for 38 from the free-throw line, while Litija only scored two points from the stripe. 26 personal fouls committed by Litija helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities. It was a good game for guard Nejc Glavas (192-86) who led his team to a victory with 22 points and 6 rebounds (went 11 for 11 at the free throw line !!!). Power forward Gregor Jakhel Kolarevic (208-88, agency: Global Sports Plaza) contributed with a double-double by scoring 14 points and 10 rebounds for the winners. Four Lastovka players scored in double figures. Forward Tadej Tusek (194-80) answered with 15 points and 5 rebounds and Anze Germ (-93) added 12 points and 5 rebounds in the effort for Litija. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Lastovka (9-6) moved-up to fourth place. Litija at the other side dropped to the fifth position with seven games lost. They share it with Terme Olimia. Lastovka are looking forward to face Terme Olimia (#6) in Podcetrtek in the next round. Litija will play on the road against Hrastnik and is hoping to win this game.
