Everything could happen in Gaziantep at the game between two tied teams. Both eleventh ranked Royal Hali and 10th ranked Turk Telekom had identical 6-10 record. This time Royal Hali used a home court advantage and defeated the opponent from Ankara 80-66 on Saturday night. The game was mostly controlled by Royal Hali. Turk Telekom's coach Ertugrul Erdogan tested ten players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. The victory was the fifth consecutive win for Royal Hali. They moved-up to tenth place. Loser Turk Telekom dropped to the eleventh position with 11 games lost. Royal Hali will face higher ranked TED Kolejliler (#8) in Ankara in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Turk Telekom will play on the road against the league's leader Banvit BK and will have a slim chance for a victory.
