Regular Season Round 16: Falcon - Horsholm 59-54

The most important game in the last round took place in Falcon between third ranked Horsholm (9-5) and seventh ranked Falcon (7-9) on Saturday night. Horsholm was defeated by Falcon in a tough game on the road 54-59. Horsholm was trailing by 2 points at halftime but managed to get 3-point lead after three quarters before a 15-7 charge of Falcon, which allowed them to win the game. They dominated on the defensive end, holding Horsholm to just 7 points in fourth quarter. They outrebounded Horsholm 43-31 including 29 on the defensive glass. Worth to mention a great performance of guard Sofie Vincents (174-87) who helped to win the game recording 13 points, 8 rebounds and 5 assists and guard Simona Bartkova (178-86) who added 12 points and 11 rebounds during the contest. Four Falcon players scored in double figures. At the losing side forward Anemone Scheel (184-95) responded with 20 points and 8 rebounds and Bosnian power forward Ivana Jovanovic (185-85) scored 12 points and 4 assists. Horsholm's coach rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. Falcon maintains seventh position with 7-9 record. Horsholm at the other side keeps the third place with five games lost. Falcon are looking forward to face higher ranked Stevnsgade (#5) on the road in the next round and it may be quite challenging game. Horsholm will play against Vaerlose and is hoping to win this game.
