Everything could happen at the game between two tied teams. Both thirteenth ranked Mykolaiv-2 and 14th ranked BC-93 Pulsar had identical 2-11 record. This time Mykolaiv-2 used a home court advantage and won against the opponent from Rovno 67-59. BC-93 Pulsar was tied at the half but could not keep up in last two quarters eventually losing the game. Mykolaiv-2 had a 39-28 advantage in offensive rebounds. They brought some defensive toughness making 14 blocks. Worth to mention a great performance of center Oleksandr Tsikaliuk (204-93) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 15 points, 11 rebounds and 8 blocks. Guard Maksym Ozhegov (190-90) contributed with 11 points, 6 rebounds and 4 assists for the winners. Mykolaiv-2's coach allowed to play the deep bench players saving starting five for next games. Forward Yuri Kuzminets (204-84) answered with a double-double by scoring 17 points and 16 rebounds and point guard Taras Lipin (185-93) added 17 points and 4 steals in the effort for BC-93 Pulsar. Newly promoted Mykolaiv-2 maintains thirteenth place with 3-11 record. BC-93 Pulsar lost their third game in a row. They keep the fourteenth position with 12 games lost. Mykolaiv-2's next round opponent will be higher ranked Musson (#9) in Symferopil and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. BC-93 Pulsar will play on the road against Avantazh-Politekhnik (#4) having rather not much hope for a victory.
