Not a big story in a game when 15th ranked Radviliskis (6-19) was defeated at home by seventh ranked Silute (12-12) 74-70. The guests started the game with a very strong first quarter 26-14. But Radviliskis won second period 24-17. However it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. It was an exceptional evening for center Edgaras Sosnovskis (205-91) who led the winners with a double-double by scoring 14 points and 16 rebounds. point guard Eivydas Molosciakas (180-93) accounted for 18 points for the winning side. point guard Vitalis Pancerevas (183-87, college: Weatherford JC) came up with 22 points and 4 assists and center Vaidas Trepocka (200-80, agency: Court Side) added 10 points and 9 rebounds respectively for Radviliskis in the defeat. Five Silute and four Radviliskis players scored in double figures. Silute maintains seventh place with 12-12 record. Radviliskis lost sixth consecutive game. They stay at the bottom position with 19 games lost. Silute will have a break next round, and it should allow them to practice more before next game. Radviliskis will play on the road against TiuMenas-Ezer. (#5) in Moletai and hopes to get back on the winning track.
