Regular Season Round 28: JAZZ-KTU - Delikatesas 74-99

No shocking result in a game in Kaunas where third ranked Delikatesas (19-7) smashed 12th ranked JAZZ-KTU (9-17) 99-74 on Saturday. The game without a history. Delikatesas led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They shot the lights out from three sinking 15 long-distance shots on high 51.7 percentage. Delikatesas looked well-organized offensively handing out 24 assists. Worth to mention a great performance of guard Aivaras Kvedaravicius (185-88) who helped to win the game recording 22 points and 6 rebounds and power forward Rokas Cepanonis (206-89) who added 16 points and 7 rebounds during the contest. Delikatesas' coach Robertas Stankevicius felt very confident that he used 11 players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. At the losing side guard Mantvydas Staselis (187-94) responded with 21 points and forward Paulius Petrilevicius (201-91) scored 13 points and 7 rebounds. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Delikatesas have a solid three-game winning streak. They moved-up to second place, which they share with Trakai. Loser JAZZ-KTU dropped to the thirteenth position with 17 games lost. Delikatesas will meet at home Vilnius-MRU (#6) in the next round. JAZZ-KTU will play against Silute (#7) and hope to secure a win.
